Merry Christmas and Yuletide Greetings

I had a different post ready to go, but decided I needed to feel more upbeat and not lean into what could be too much heaviness. The winter solstice is behind us, New Year's Day 2025 is just around the corner. Today is Christmas Day. While it can be filled with sadness for those I've lost, parents, siblings, and my dear husband, I have people in my life to care for and who care about me. I can even laugh a bit this year.

The other night I turned on the TV to a Nate Bargatze Nashville Christmas. I've never heard of him before, but the special was very entertaining, not crude humour as is so often the case, just funny. I particularly enjoyed this bit. Merry Christmas!

  1. Hi Sam,

I read heartfelt Christmas and the holidays—it’s so refreshing to see someone dive deeper into the emotional and reflective side of this season. You’re right, it’s not just about the festivities, but about the connections and the memories we create.

One thing that’s helped me during this busy time is taking a moment each evening to reflect on a small “win” of the day. It’s amazing how grounding it can be, especially when paired with your idea of finding joy in unexpected places.

Thanks for sharing such a thoughtful perspective. I hope your Christmas is filled with warmth, laughter, and peace.

    Cheers,
