Tryin for a accountability, I'm checking in on my lack of progress. Still, awareness is a start.
- Lose five pounds. Not a single pound.
- Walk 10 miles per week. With working yesterday, several care days then an overnight, I did not get out for intentional walks. I think perhaps I got 6 miles in.
- Strength and weight resistance exercise two hours per week. I'm giving myself yellow in this. With using my ankle weights and doing several 10 minutes options a day I may be close. Tracking is needed.
- Ensure I have at least six fruit and veg servings per day with at least three being vegetables. This was a green progress. I even packed two servings for my school lunch yesterday.
* I've been using the old template and updating. I'm at a one in terms of blog energy, but still want the connection.
For me, tracking & monitoring is at least half the battle, so well done getting a start on this. - Hawaii Planner
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping the accountability will show me I am my own challenge, so therefore, my own solution.
DeleteHugs from me. Love seeing this! You did see some progress and that is good - even with less activity, getting more fruit and veg in is good :)!
ReplyDeleteI've been much more tired than I feel I should be. I think that means I should move even more.
DeleteCronometer is a free app (I have it on my laptop rather than phone). It's a tool to log food intake and exercise output. I used it faithfully for almost 2 years and it really cleaned up my brain on food choices and exercise and the balance and/or deficit needed to hold steady or lose weight.
ReplyDeleteI'll look into it. My ancient phone has no more room for apps.
DeleteI have been slowlyyyy losing weight with eating cleaner but I decided to add some exercise this week. I’ve been walking, doing some core exercises and light weight training, I pick at least one thing a day. I’m notorious for starting strong and fizzling out so we’ll see what happens. JoAnn
ReplyDeleteGood for you. I'm frustrated with myself that I let the weight come back on when I wanted the opposite. I'm still lower than a year ago but was doing really well moving forward.
DeleteSince my accident and surgery, I have put on about two pounds. That does not discourage me. My new goal is not to gain any more. Then, I can have the goal of losing a bit later.
ReplyDeleteOh no-your name didn't come up so not sure who left this comment, but sending a general well wishes to you!
DeleteConsistency is key, so your several 10 minutes a day counts towards your progress.
ReplyDeleteI think so too. My left side is still much weaker than right.
DeleteWell done, that's a good start! x
ReplyDeleteThans, Vix. A start is better than I stop so I'll take it.
