Sorry for the early publish on Saturday. I was starting a running list to add and got a bit over zealous. On Tuesdays I try and gather a list of things that have made me smile or brought a bit of cheer. Spring is in the air, but it's a bit false as anyone in Minnesota knows, we do not get through the highschool winter state tournament season with out one or two major snow falls. Still, I'll start with weather in my list.

  • Long time readers know I'm a big sports fan, Minnesota teams in particular. I was pretty pumped that both the women and men won gold for the USA, with respectable Minnesota representation. Now, Go Frost! Go Wild.
  • Prior to Sunday we had spring thinking weather. It made it easier to get things done out and about.
  • The Cat distribution story over at Two Men made me smile and I will follow the kitten saga. I think they have maybe three new pets.
  • This is a punch in the gut positive, but happy news. My nephew and wife are expecting a baby. I hate having such a small immediate family that looks like it's going to stay small. Yet, I'm so happy for this part of my family. Both parents to be had loss at very young ages and this little one will have a lot of guardian angels.
  • The snow was enough to cover the ugly. The dogs had a ball- even pup with his new dose of arthritis pills. Sorry it's so dark, was quite early in the morning last Thursday when they were playing.

  • My sister is recovering nicely. By Sunday she needed very little help, but between us all, were at the ready for rides and be in her house just in case when she takes her first few showers or anything that's riskier.
I leave in a week for Greece and better kick on with my lists. I have a travel pillow that wraps the neck, highly recommended coming today. I'm at the mercy of the airline for seats, which came with a great price point, but hope to sleep even if in a middle seat. We've got a pre trip video call today at noon my time, 6:00 my travel companions time so we have a game plan upon arrival. I've got some fun scheduled this week with trivia, a meetup with former colleagues, and family book club. The week will go fast. The trip is a finger snap away and that's something to be positive about.

    1. Yes, we had a great pre trip call, with a tentative itinerary but room for flexibility and a lot of time just wandering and exploring, my favorite type of activities.
