Pardon my silence as I throw myself fully into my trip. I arrived uneventfully Sunday morning, a good thing in travel, but my poor friend battles road gridlock picking me up. Highlights so far were
- Windsor wander
- an outdoor swim in a lido ( followed by steam room, sauna, and hot tub)
- a glorious lunch in a pub in the Cotswolds and a farm store shop
- meeting lovely friends of friend and daughter of friend
- Bristol United soccer, pardon me football match, complete with colorful chants to the officials
- and today both pretending to be a neighbor of Doc Martin, and drinks over looking the sea in St Ives. Cornwall is amazing.
More to come but a snippet to share. Photos might not mot be in correct order of days and times. I'll do a big sort and personal photo album once home. |
